Message from Leadership

We offer a robust Surgical Critical Care training experience.  Our Core Faculty consists of eight board certified General Surgery and SCC Acute Care Surgeons and an Emergency Medicine/SCC physician.  With our strong SCC presence within the Department of Surgery, we deliver a broad SCC educational program.  We have collaborative relationships with the Emergency Medicine, Pulmonary/Critical Care, and Medical Critical Care programs.  We provide multiple multidisciplinary and interdepartmental didactic sessions to assist our SCC Fellows in preparation for their future practice.  In addition we heavily emphasize our ability to mentor all of our SCC Fellows in development of professional skills and provide assistance in job searches.  Our SCC Fellow Graduates have found careers in a multitude of practice types, ranging from community based programs to academic Level 1 trauma centers.

I am very proud of the SCC experience we offer.  Please contact me with additional questions as needed.  Thank you for your interest in our program!
