Call Responsibilities and Moonlighting
To help facilitate communication and transition of care for non-urgent adult reconstruction issues admitted through the trauma service, we have created an internal call system where one fellow and one attending from the adult reconstruction service are assigned weekly responsibilities of assuming care for these patients. The fellows are not assigned any additional call duties. Moonlighting opportunities are available once sufficient proficiency is confirmed and supported by the program director and section chief of the trauma service.
