Janice Gleisner - Sr. Program Manager
Hi! I'm the Senior Program Manager of the Internal Medicine Residency Program. Originally from central Wisconsin, I moved to Roanoke, Virginia, in 2016 to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. I hold a Bachelor's in Computer Information Technology and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. With over 10 years of experience in Graduate Medical Education, I have worked in various residency and fellowship programs.

Blair Spencer - Program Supervisor
Hi, my name is Blair. I was born here in Roanoke but grew up in Spotsylvania, VA. I moved back to the area in 2015 to be with my family after having adventures in Boston, Buffalo and Orlando. There is just something about the mountains that called me home. Working with the Internal Medicine Residency Program has helped me learn the importance of GME programs and how to be a liaison between the faculty, residents and medical students.

Lindsey Parvana - Program Coordinator
Hi, my name is Lindsey! I grew up in Saratoga Springs NY and graduated from SUNY Cobleskill. I first came to Roanoke for a college internship, I loved the city and moved here shortly after graduating! I joined Carilion as a patient advocate, however after learning more about the GME program I decided to change roles! I love animals, I have two cats and a fish. Outside of work you can find me volunteering at Healing Strides of VA an equine assisted therapy center.
