Well-Being for Residents & Fellows

Carilion Clinic welcomes you as a Resident and Fellow, in addition to being a whole human whose life outside of work and overall well-being is a significant and imperative contribution to your patients, colleagues, and community. At Carilion, we want to learn about and support your unique needs so you can continue to improve the health of the communities you serve. Carilion GME takes a more holistic approach to your physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and financial well-being. Our Well-Being Team provides effective coaching, consulting, and training, as well as connecting you to programs within the Carilion community that may be helpful to you and your family. We collaborate across departments to create events and programs to bolster you and your colleagues, in addition to individual care.

Should you have questions or concerns, or need a resource or referral, please do not hesitate to reach out to your Well-Being Team. We can help you get connected and have the support you need to be at your best.  Your Well-Being Team includes, but is not limited to, the chaplains, EAP consultants, wellness centers and your GME Well-Being Navigator.
