Message from Leadership
Welcome to the Neurology Residency at Carilion Clinic. Our mission is to help develop outstanding neurology clinician-scientists. Our curriculum design is geared towards helping our learners develop a solid foundation in diagnosis and management of patients with complex, challenging disorders as well as inspiring lifelong learning, inquiry and teaching.
Our faculty—both at Carilion Clinic and the Salem Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC)—have many years of teaching experience at university medical centers and a proven track record in resident mentorship.
