Neurology Residency

Our mission is to help develop outstanding neurology clinician-scientists. We provide compassionate, ethical care to a diverse population in urban and rural areas with changing medical and social situations. Our small class cohort of trainees offers us the luxury of working intimately with all members of the health care team. Our curriculum design is geared toward helping our learners develop a solid foundation in diagnosis and management of patients with complex, challenging disorders as well as inspiring lifelong learning, inquiry and teaching.

Program Aims

• Provide residents with a rich knowledge of the clinical and basic neurosciences, socio-behavioral sciences, technologies and other medical sciences relevant to the care of neurological patients, culminating in successful certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
• Foster resident curiosity for knowledge, commitment to lifelong learning, compassion for patients and dedication to exceptional quality and service
• Improve the health of the community, including the diverse underserved population within our region
