Admission Requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Required successful completion of USMLE/COMLEX Step 1, 2 and 3
- Must have completed at least a three year residency and must be board eligible or have board certification in Internal Medicine (ABIM or American College of Osteopathic Internal Medicine)
- Letters of Recommendation (LOR)
- One must be from the applicant's program director
- Plus two other LORs (total of 3)
- An updated copy of the applicant's curriculum vitae
- Prior research is desirable, but not a requirement
- J-1 visas are sponsored
The Rheumatology Fellowship Training Program at Carilion Clinic - Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine is a participant in the NRMP match. All applications will be accepted through ERAS and follow ERAS deadlines.
