Admission Requirements

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• USMLE passing scores on first attempt
• Osteopathic candidates are encouraged to provide USMLE scores
• Applications completed via ResidencyCAS
• 3 letters of recommendation, one of those being from the Department Chair 
• Sponsor J-1 Visas only

Application deadline is September 25, 2024. Our program follows APGO/CREOG Interview Guidelines.

Interview Day

We will extend interview offers on October 29, 2024, per Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology (CREOG) guidelines. Interviews are required for all of our Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency positions. During the 2024-25 application cycle, all interviews will be held virtually on Fridays. 

The evening prior to the interview day, the residents will host a virtual meet and greet at 7 p.m. EST. This is a great opportunity to learn more about our program, the Roanoke region and potential future colleagues.
