Our Match Pledge
We are committed to a holistic review of all applications.
We have 4 positions in the Match for which we will interview 48 candidates.
We will not invite more candidates than we have interview slots available.
Interviews will be offered from November 8th through December 13th, 2024.
All interviews will be virtual.
We will certify our rank lists on January 31, 2025.
We welcome you to visit us in person after our rank list is certified. In-person visits will not impact our rank list.

Typical Interview Day
Our virtual interviews typically take place on Fridays via Zoom and are either in the morning or afternoon and typically last for four (4) hours. There will be a program overview by the Program Director, an interview portion with select faculty, and a virtual Hospital Tour including time for Q&A with our current residents.

Interview Day Documents
Please Note: Carilion Clinic requires all employees meet the following requirements
- pass pre-employment testing (e.g. drug screen)
- pass criminal background check
- obtain a temporary medical license in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- obtain J1 VISA status, if needed
