Plastic Surgery Residency
How to Apply
Application Requirements
We only accept applications through the Plastic Surgery Common Application (PSCA). Applications will be reviewed by the program application committee and we follow the ACEPS guidelines on timeline for interview offers and communications. Applicants offered an interview will be notified at the email address given on their application. Additional information as to the interview process will be included in the mailing.
The program is seeking well-rounded individuals who, through their application materials, demonstrate a broad and deep medical knowledge data base, an aptitude for deciphering surgical disease states and an unflagging work ethic founded on the team approach to patient care. Applicants must present a USMLE Step II score in their application materials.
Visiting Students
We are proud to offer both a two-week and a four-week medical student elective rotation opportunity through the office of Visiting Student Affairs. The student will participate in the care of the elective and emergent cases managed by the plastic surgeons in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. Students will see common reconstructive surgical problems in patients of all ages, including pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
The student will also be introduced to concepts in breast reconstruction, head and neck reconstruction, soft tissue reconstruction of the trunk and extremities, and congenital anomalies such as cleft lip and palate, craniosynostosis and lymphovascular malformations. Please contact the office of Visiting Student Affairs with any questions or to receive more information.
