Plastic Surgery Residency

PGY 4-6 residents will be required and PGY 1-3 residents will be encouraged to submit an annual research abstract, either clinical or basic science, to the Virginia Society of Plastic Surgeons local meeting and the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons regional meeting. These projects will have assigned faculty mentors, with the goal of publication. Any resident who has an abstract accepted will be allowed to attend the meeting with all costs supported.
