Psychiatry Residency
Dr. Michael Greenage is the Program Director for the Virginia Tech-Carilion Clinic Psychiatry Residency Program. He is also the medical director for adult inpatient psychiatry. He completed his residency training at Virginia Tech-Carilion Clinic. His clinical interests are thought disorders and residency education. He enjoys teaching critical thinking skills in medicine. Outside of the hospital he enjoys reading and Legos.
Dr. Mamta Sapra is a Professor of Psychiatry and Associate Program Director for Virginia Tech-Carilion Clinic Psychiatry Residency Program. She completed her psychiatry residency at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and geriatric psychiatry fellowship at VTC. She is medical director for neurocognitive disorders clinic and IRB chair at Salem VA Medical Center. Her academic interests include development of new interventions for dementia patients, their families and also promote all mental health research. She is passionate about residency education and mentoring. Outside work, she enjoys playing tennis and travelling new places with family.
Dr. Felicity Adams is an Associate Program Director for the adult psychiatry program and the division director of child and adolescent psychiatry services at Virginia Tech-Carilion Clinic. She completed her residency and fellowship training at UNC Chapel Hill. Her academic interests include autism care across the life span, and best practices for children and youth in foster care. She enjoys working with colleagues to support best practices in education, and professionalism in the learning environment. In times away from work she likes being with family and friends.
